The Wa’ed Association for Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners and the National and Islamic Forces Committee organized Monday, September 25, a stand in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli prisons and in rejection of the aggressive policies of the extremist Israeli Minister Itamar Ben Gvir against them.
Representatives of the Palestinian factions and institutions dedicated to advocating for the rights of Palestinian detainees gathered in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross, west of Gaza City, carrying banners in solidarity with the prisoners.
In a statement on behalf of the families of the killed detainees, preacher Wael Al-Zard affirmed, “The radical policies of the Israeli occupation will not undermine the unwavering determination of the hunger-striking prisoners.”
“Our prisoners will not remain in captivity for long. There will be a new, honourable deal that will release them all soon,” added Al-Zard.

Speaking on behalf of the Prisoners’ Committee of the National and Islamic Forces, leader Nashat al-Wahidi emphasized that the occasional denunciation statements issued by international organizations neither fulfil nor alleviate the hunger and suffering experienced by the prisoners.
He emphasized the critical significance of these organizations translating their concerns into concrete actions to halt the continuous Israeli transgressions against detainees and secure their release.
