A young Palestinian succumbed, on Tuesday, August 23rf, 2022 to wounds he sustained during a raid in Nablus two weeks ago
Muhammad Araishi, from the city of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, was seriously injured during the violent clashes and confrontations that took place during the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the Old City of Nablus and assassination of the two martyred, Ibrahim al-Nabulsi and Islam Sabbouh, two weeks ago.
The confrontations at that time also resulted in the death of the boy Hussein Taha and the injury of dozens of citizens, including a number of serious cases.
Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids, which take place also in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted without a need for a search warrant. they happen whenever and wherever the military chooses in flaunting its sweeping arbitrary powers.
Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised nor can they regulate it
