IOF Kidnap Several Palestinians, Injure Others in West Bank Raids

Israeli occupation forces IOF on Wednesday early morning, August 24, raided a number of West Bank cities and detained at least 11 Palestinians, and injured others after breaking into their houses.

Local sources reported that the Israeli forces broke into Al-Beirah, Salwad, Beit Rima, and Al-Jalzoun areas in occupied Ramallah and detained four Palestinians, including the ex-detainee Issam Al-Kaabi, after raiding and searching their houses.

For the third day in a row, Israeli forces broke into Salwad, raiding and searching the Palestinian houses. In addition, IOF confiscated a Palestinian-owned car from the town.

In a related incident, heavily armed Israeli forces stormed occupied Jenin, raiding the Palestinian houses, and attacking the Palestinian citizens with live bullets and tear gas canisters.

Dozens were reportedly injured due to their exposure to tear gas. Several others were reported injured with live bullets. Meanwhile, the Israeli forces prevented medical crews from reaching the scene.

Moreover, the Israeli forces raided Nablus and Hebron and detained several Palestinians. IOF targeted the Palestinian citizens with tear gas grenades in Hebron, injuring dozens including children.
