In what seems to be a retaliation to the systematic ‘Israeli’ crimes and settlers’ attacks against the Palestinian people, a run-over incident took place on Thursday, August 31, 2023, in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, leaving an ‘Israeli’ soldier dead and five others injured.
Israeli security sources claimed that a Palestinian carried out a run-over operation near the Beit Sita Israeli military checkpoint west of Ramallah, injuring three Israeli soldiers.
Consequently, Israeli troops have been widely deployed in the area searching for the executor, as they closed many roads and started harassing and intimidating Palestinians.
Later, the Israeli occupation announced that the Israeli troops murdered the Palestinian resistance fighter.
The Palestinian media reported that this operation comes in response to the increasing violence of the Israeli forces and settlers against Palestinian citizens, which is ignited and triggered by the current far-right ‘Israeli’ government.
A report by the Colonization & Wall Resistance Commission revealed that the Israeli occupation forces and settler militias carried out 897 attacks on Palestinians and their properties in July 2023.
The ‘Israeli’ attacks involved firing live bullets and toxic gas, terrorist attacks, raids, vandalism, theft, land grabbing, and tree uprooting. Most of the attacks were in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
