The Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs stated Monday, May 22, 2023, that the Palestinian sick prisoner, Walid Daqqa, was urgently transferred to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in the 1948 occupied territories.
And the commission explained in a brief statement that there is no information received from the hospital regarding his current condition, noting that he is in an extremely critical condition.
The Prisoners’ Club added that the prisoner, Daqqa, suffers the continuous crime of systematic medical maltreatment policy followed by the Israeli prison administration of “Ashkelon Prison”.
The Palestinian thinker Walid Daqqa (60), from the town of Baqa al-Gharbia in the lands of 1948, comes from a family consisting of three sisters and 6 brothers, noting that he lost his father during the years of his detention.
