A group of Palestinian activists in the United States continues their online campaign, demanding the immediate and urgent release of the Palestinian prisoner Walid Daqqah, due to his grave health conditions.
In their tweets, Palestinian activists called on American human rights institutions to urgently intervene to release the Palestinian prisoner, Walid Daqqa, who has been detained for 38 years and the occupation authorities deliberately follow medical negligence policy with him, in addition to dozens of sick prisoners.
The Palestinian thinker Walid Daqqa (60), from the town of Baqa al-Gharbia in the lands of 1948, comes from a family consisting of three sisters and 6 brothers, noting that he lost his father during the years of his detention.
There are 4,900 Palestinians inside Israeli occupation prisons, including 400 who suffer severe and chronic illnesses, 31 women, and 500 administrative detainees.
In the absence of strong pressure to stop the systemic inhumane abuses, the racist and fascist policies of the Prison Service Administration have a negative impact on Palestinian detainees.
