Palestinian Detainees Continue "Revolution" Against Ben Gvir's Racism for 20th Day
M.S | DOP -

The Palestinian detainees in the Israeli occupation prisons continued Sunday, March 5, their “revolution” against the measures of the terrorist Minister of Internal Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, for the 20th day in a row.

The Ministry of Detainees and Ex-detainees said in a press statement that the Palestinian detainees’ revolution steps on Sunday are to close all sections for 3 hours (10 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon), organize protests in the prison yards (Al-Fura), and continue to wear the prisoners’ brown clothes (Al-Shabas).

It added that the prisoners are taking more severe steps affecting the prison administration during this week, after twenty days of disobedience and protest against the measures of the prison administration and the extremist Ben Gvir against them.

The ministry noted that these steps will remain in a state of escalation until the start of the open-ended hunger strike on the first of the month of Ramadan.

The Palestinian detainees’ escalation of their steps is a result of the prison administration’s lack of real direction to end the recent racial procedures and decisions that directly affect their lives.
