The Palestinian Agency for International Cooperation (PICA) has dispatched on Thursday the Palestine‘s Rapid Response and Rescue team to Syria and Türkiye to join the ongoing efforts to assist those in the quake–stricken areas.
This team is comprised of the Palestinian Civil Defense, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, the Ministry of Health, and the Palestine Broadcasting Corporation.
The Palestinian Red Crescent has dispatched 25 of their medical personnel to Türkiye and Syria to contribute to the relief efforts.
The Palestinian–American community in the United States has made a call for donations to assist organizations operating in Syria and Türkiye in rescue operations, as well as to provide housing for those displaced by the disastrous earthquake that caused numerous casualties and left many without homes.
