The Israeli occupation police on Wednesday evening arrested a Palestinian citizen and his son after storming the East Jerusalem district of Silwan and kidnaped another one at the Shuafat checkpoint, north of the holy city.
According to local sources, police forces kidnaped Mohamed al-Abbasi and his child Uday from their home in Silwan, south of the Aqsa Mosque.
Another young citizen identified as Saleh Ashour was kidnaped in the evening by police forces at the checkpoint of Shuafat refugee camp in the northeast of Jerusalem.
Earlier, police forces broke into and ransacked the house of Ahmed al-Awar in Ein Luza neighborhood of Silwan, with no reported arrests.
In a separate incident, police officers assaulted and rounded up a Palestinian young man during his presence in Bab al-Asbat area near the Aqsa Mosque and arrested two children from the nearby area Bab al-Amud.
