Days of Palestine – Nablus
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced the death of the 15-year-old boy, Muhammad Saeed Hamayel, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ suppression of a peaceful march against settlements in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.
Six other citizens were injured, and dozens of civilians suffocated during the suppression of the march.
Hundreds participated in performing Friday prayers on Mount Sabih, south of Beita, and then set out in a march towards the outpost, which settlers forcibly began building more than a month ago.
Jabal Sabih witnessed heavy deployment of the Israeli occupation forces since the morning, and the soldiers started firing bullets and tear gas canisters at the march participants.
Hundreds of settlers flocked at dawn Friday to Mount Sabih and organized loud celebrations in the outpost called “Avitar”.
