Days of Palestine – Ramallah
Last night and at dawn today, the Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids, searches, and arrests in separate areas in the occupied West Bank.
In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces arrested, today, Wednesday, three citizens, including Hamas leader Jamal Al-Taweel.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Umm Al-Shariat neighborhood in Al-Bireh late last night, and arrested the leader of “Hamas” Jamal Al-Taweel.
The Israeli occupation forces also arrested the young man, Saleh Siyaga, from the town of Silwad, and raided the home of the martyr Anas Hammad and tampered with its contents.
The sources added that the Israeli occupation forces arrested the young Rami Hamdan, after raiding his house in the town of Beit Sira.
In Bethlehem, the Israeli occupation forces arrested seven citizens.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested Youssef Jalal Taqatqa, Obeida Muhammad Thawabta, and Ahmed Ali Abu al-Asal, from the town of Beit Fajjar.
They also arrested Muhammad Issa Abayat and Raed Abayat, from the Wadi Abu Fariha area of the city of Beit Sahour, and Ahmed Ayman Ali, and Fadi Daoud Asakreh, from Al-Asakrah, after they raided and searched the homes of their relatives.
In Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces arrested four civilians from the city and Al-Aroub camp, including two boys.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested the boy, Sanad Muhammad Ibrahim Muqbel (13 years), from the Al-Aroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, after they raided his family’s house.
They added that the Israeli occupation forces arrested the two brothers, Bahaa El-Din Mohammed Al-Nahnoush (22 years), the boy Omar (15 years), and Mohammed Adel Al-Salaymeh from the southern area of Hebron after they raided the homes of their relatives, searched them, and tampered with their contents.
In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces set up military checkpoints at the entrances to the city of Hebron and its towns and camps, and stopped citizens’ vehicles, and checked their identities.
In Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces arrested two citizens, from Deir Sharaf village, west of the city.
According to local sources, the occupation forces stormed Deir Sharaf at dawn and arrested the citizens, Hisham Faqha, and Ward Al-Antari.
