The director of “UNRWA” operations in the Gaza Strip, Matthias Shamali, confirmed that the Israeli occupation army did not abide by any of the international laws during the aggression on Gaza.

Shamali said, in his tweet on Twitter, that the killing of more than 200 civilians in Gaza, including children and women, confirms that the Israeli occupation army did not abide by any of the laws of war, calling for an independent investigation to be opened and accountability for those who did so.

Shamali expressed his regret and apology for his recent statements, stressing that killing children breaks all laws of war and that those who do so should not go unpunished.

He explained that the advanced Israeli weapons had killed more than sixty children, twenty of whom were enrolled in UNRWA schools.
