A Palestinian child today, Friday evening, was injured by a rubber-coated metal bullet in his right eye, which the Israeli occupation forces fired at him, while he was in the Bab Al-Zawiya area in the center of Hebron, which caused him to lose it.

Local sources said that the child Ezz El-Din Nidal Al-Batsh (13 years) was wounded with a rubber-coated metal bullet in the eye, and was subsequently transferred to Hebron Governmental Hospital.

Medical sources confirmed that the child lost his eye as a result of her direct injury, while his father said that his son was injured while he was inside one of the shops in the city center.

The Bab Al-Zawiya area witnessed clashes between youths and the Israeli occupation soldiers stationed at the military checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Shuhada Street in the city center, during which the soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at the citizens and shops.
