Days of Palestine – Ramallah
The Israeli occupation forces launched, at dawn today, Tuesday, a campaign of arrests of a number of Palestinian citizens during raids and incursions into separate areas in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a student at Birzeit University, Abdul Majeed Hassan, after special forces "undercover" searches of his home in the Al-Misbah neighborhood.
Student Hassan, one of the cadres of the Islamic bloc at Birzeit University, is the son of the leader of the Hamas movement Majid Hassan, the brother of the detained student Muhammad Hassan, and the ex-prisoner Shatha Hassan.
From the town of Ni'lin, west of Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the young man, Musab Sorour, during a raid on his house, in addition to the arrest of the young man, Muhammad Burgan.
In Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces raided the southern region, Jabal Al-Rahma, and Bab Al-Zawiya, and arrested the young man, Muhammad Burfan (35 years), after they raided and searched his home.
From Hebron, too, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the young Mashhour al-Rajabi, and the Israeli occupation forces set up a military checkpoint on the Halhoul Bridge, north of Hebron, and searched citizens' vehicles and checked their identities.
In Salfit, the Israeli occupation forces arrested: Nour Jamal Azzam from the village of Yasouf to the east, and Munis Maree and Saher Mari from Qarawat Bani Hassan to the west, after they raided and searched the homes of their relatives.
From Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces arrested two young men, Amjad Khaled Hussein Fayed, and Tamer Al-Saffouri, from Jenin camp, at a military checkpoint near Nablus, and arrested the young man, Ahmed Hudhaifa Al-Jamal, after they raided his family's home in the city of Jenin.
Local sources reported the arrest of the citizen Imran Zawahra from occupied Jerusalem, and the occupation forces also arrested this morning a young man in front of the Bab al-Rahma chapel in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Separate areas in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem are witnessing daily night incursions, interspersed with raids and searches of homes, vandalizing their contents, and terrorizing their residents. Especially women and children.
