Days of Palestine – Ramallah
Israeli occupation forces Today, Monday arrested a Palestinian girl for allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack near a settlement outpost west of Ramallah.
Hebrew media claimed that a girl was shot after she tried to carry out a stabbing attack after she reached the settlement outpost on Jabal al-Raisan, west of Ramallah.
The Israeli occupation's ambitions in Jabal Al-Risan go back to the eighties of the last century, specifically in 1983, when it seized more than a thousand dunams and confiscated it on the pretext that it had become state land.
The Raysan area was a haven for Palestinian farmers who, during the past years, cultivated it with wheat and barley, in addition to the thousands of olive and almond trees spread over it, so that this economic treasure turned into an occupation zone.
Al-Raysan is considered a tourist area for residents of all Ramallah villages, where those who reach it can clearly see the occupied lands in the year 48.
Immediately after its control, the occupation transformed Al-Raysan into a closed military zone, preventing access to it, and preventing farmers and landowners from entering it for several years.
