Days of Palestine – Gaza
Hamas Movement welcomed the decision of the World Health Organization in its last meeting, last Tuesday, to vote by the Executive Council of the organization against the draft resolution "Israeli", to withdraw the clause on the organization's mandate over health conditions in the occupied Palestinian and Arab territories.
A member of the International Relations Office of Hamas, Dr. Basim Naim, said that these "Israeli" attempts to evade its responsibilities as an occupying power, should not be given any chance for success, and are faced with absolute rejection.
He said that all necessary pressure must be exerted on the zionist entity to carry out its duties according to international law towards the Palestinian people under occupation and their needs, especially those related to humanitarian aspects such as health and education.
Naim called on the international community with all its components to put pressure on the entity to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian and Arab lands, otherwise deterrent sanctions must be imposed on it, so that Palestinian people's aspirations for freedom and independence are fulfilled.
