Days of Palestine – Hebron
Israeli settlers today uprooted and stole about 100 olive saplings in the Sha'b Al-Butm area, near the "Avigal" settlement, which lies on Palestinian lands east of Yatta, south of Hebron.
Rateb Jabour, coordinator of the popular anti-wall, anti-settlements committees, said that a group of settlers broke into a privately-owned Palestinian land in an area known as Sha'b al-Butm where they uprooted nearly 100 olive saplings belonging to Ishaq Mahmoud Al-Jabbarin.
During the past two weeks, several towns in Hebron have been subjected to repeated attacks by the occupation and its settlers, as the occupation vehicles swept away about 8 dunums and uprooted more than 80 olive trees in the Al-Qarn area in the town of Beit Ummar to the north, and the settlers of "Karmi Tzur", who are sitting on the lands of the citizens in the same town, uprooted dozens of fruit trees, including almonds and grapes.
In the town of Yatta, to the south, settlers uprooted about 35 olive trees in the Tuwani area, east of the town, near the settlement of "Ma'on," and stole them.
