Days of Palestine – Nablus
The Palestinian girl, Hala Mash'hour Qutt, 11, sustained injuries today as a group of hardcore settlers attacked her family's house in the village of Madama, to the south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to a local source.
Local sources said that settlers attacked the house of the girl's family, located in the southeastern region of the village, with stones, and smashed its windows, injuring her with a stone in her head, and they also attempted to kidnap the girl, but were fended off by local Palestinian residents who thwarted the kidnapping attempt and forced the settlers out of the village.
The girl was moved to a hospital in Nablus city for medical treatment.
The village of Madama is exposed to repeated attacks by settlers who attack citizens' homes and properties, attacks on farmers and expel them from their lands, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, in addition to cutting down old olive trees, in an attempt to seize the village's lands.
