Days of Palestine – Nablus
Israeli settlers on Monday uprooted about 60 olive seedlings from Jalud lands, south of Nablus, and stole them.
Ghassan Douglas, the Palestinian official in charge of the settlement file in the northern part of the West Bank, said that a number of Israeli settlers uprooted 60 olive seedlings from Jalud lands which belong to the citizen Ghassan Khalil Hajj Muhammad, and stole them.
He added that this is the second time that settlers uprooted dozens of olive trees within days in the aforementioned village.
Yesterday, Israeli settlers uprooted 130 olive seedlings and stole them in the Shaab al-Kharab area, east of Qasra, south of Nablus, and days before that, the occupation forces committed a massacre on the sixth of this month against 3,000 olive trees in the town of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit, in a clear and systematic targeting of trees by the occupation and its settlers.
