Days of Palestine – Hebron
The Israeli occupation forces on Friday committed a new crime against a citizen in the city of Hebron, when they fired live bullets at him from a distance of zero, causing him to be quadriplegic, to be added to the record of their crimes against Palestinian people.
The Israeli occupation forces attacked the participants in the peaceful marches condemning the establishment of outposts, which led to dozens of injuries with rubber-coated metal bullets and suffocation, while settlers continued their attacks on citizens, which focused in Hebron and Nablus.
Local sources confirmed that the Palestinian young man who identified as Haroon Abu Aram, 24, was quadriplegic, after the Israeli occupation forces fired live bullets at him in the Tawana area, east of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
Wafa Agency reported that the young man was hit by live bullets in the neck, and was transferred to Yatta Governmental Hospital, where his injury was described as critical.
Eyewitnesses stated that the Israeli occupation soldiers fired direct bullets from zero distance towards Abu Aram when he tried to prevent them from seizing an electrical generator that he and his family used, while the Ministry of Health announced later that he was shot in the nerves and spine, which led to his quadriplegia.
Meanwhile, 18 civilians were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens suffocated with tear gas, during the occupation's suppression of the participants in the weekly Kafr Qaddum march east of Qalqilya, and the demand to open the village street, which has been closed for 17 years.
