The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced Saturday morning that 5 deaths and 584 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours, indicating that the number of new samples that were examined was 2,204 samples.
The Ministry stated in the daily report on coronavirus, that the cumulative total of those infected since last March has reached 24,395 infections, of which 10493 are active cases.
It indicated that the number of deaths reached 134 after 5 new deaths were recorded, while the statistics of people recovering from the coronavirus in the Gaza Strip reached 13,768 cases after 442 recoveries were recorded.
It confirmed that the total number of cases that need medical care within the hospital is 364, including 154 serious cases.
