The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs announced today that two new cases of cancer were recorded in the Israeli occupation prisons, raising the number of cancer- patients prisoners to 10.
The spokesman of the commission, Hassan Abd Rabbo, stated in a press statement, today, that the two new patient prisoners are: Nidal Abu Aahour, 45, from Bethlehem, who suffers from kidney cancer, after the occupation delayed his treatment of dialysis. He is the father of 7 children and was arrested on June 23 Last June.
Also, the prisoner Imad Abu Ramz (46 years), from Hebron, who suffers from a cancerous tumor, has been detained since 2004, and is sentenced to 25 years imprisonment.
He pointed out that the commission had called for a visit of a medical committee to the sick prisoners, and had contacted the Red Cross in order to provide the necessary treatment for the prisoners with cancer.
