The Israeli army, today, attacked a peaceful Palestinian protest in the northern Jordan valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank, according to witnessed sources.

The protesters were demonstrating near the Israeli military checkpoint at Tayasir, east of the West Bank city of Tubas, against the Israeli annexation and colonization of Palestinian lands, and the Israeli forces prevent the Palestinian to from reaching Hamsa al-Fawqa town, which was demolished early this month.

The protesters raised the Palestinian flags and slogans condemning the settlement of the Israeli occupation.

The nonviolent demonstration was organized by the Palestinian fanctions in Hamsa al- Fawqa, Which was subjected to a demolition process early this month.

Hamsa al-Fawqa is one of 38 Bedouin villages, which are partially or completely located inside a square that the occupation authorities declared a military firing site.

The demolition of the village has sympathy and condemnation from the European Union and the United Nations, as it witnessed a visit by heads of missions and representatives to stop the destruction caused by the Israeli occupation bulldozers, calling on the Israeli occupation to stop the demolitions.
