Gaza registered 191 new infections from the coronavirus in the besieged Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, reported the heath ministry in Gaza on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Health Ministry said the territory’s virus count rose to 8931 confirmed cases, including 42 deaths, and 5876 recoveries. The number of active cases has reached 3014.
The ministry affirmed the death of three citizen due to COVID-19 infection, and they are:
1- Fayza Yousef Abu Madian, 72 years-old.
2-Elham Mahmoud Ibrahim Shabir, 65 years- old.
3-Mahmoud Salman Al-Mughni, 72 years-old.
The ministry called on residents to pursue social distancing to help stem the spread of the virus.
