Days of Palestine – Qalqilya
The Israeli occupation forces raided at dawn Saturday various areas in the West Bank and clashes erupted in Al-Bireh city. Two Palestinians were arrested in Azzun town, Qalqilya district.
In Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Bireh city and clashes broke out between the IOF soldiers and the Palestinian youths.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces broke into the Seth Marhaba neighborhood in Al-Bireh and stationed in several areas.
In Qalqilya, Israeli occupation forces stormed Azzun town and started a searching campaign of several houses in the town. The Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians after they surrounded their homes, searched them and damaged their property.
Azzun is witnessing almost daily incursions by Israeli occupation forces in a bid to end the throwing of stones and Molotov cocktails at Jewish settlers and Israeli occupation forces patrols. Israeli occupation forces also arrested dozens of Palestinians living in Azzun in an attempt to stop these attacks but to no avail.
In Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Salamah neighborhood in Ya’abad town, southwest of Jenin, and stationed there for several hours.
Al-Salamah neighborhood is subjected to continuous incursions and harassment. Its residents are frequently investigated during these incursions. The frequency of violations of the neighborhood increased after one Israeli soldier was killed by throwing a stone on his head from the roof of one of its houses.
