Gaza registered 85 new infections from the coronavirus in the besieged Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, reported the heath ministry in Gaza on Monday.
In a statement, the Health Ministry said the territory’s virus count rose to 2911 confirmed cases, including 21 deaths, and 1470 recoveries. The number of active cases has reached 1420.
The ministry called on residents to pursue social distancing to help stem the spread of the virus.
