DaysofPal- Israeli settlers intensified attacks on Palestinians and their property across several areas of the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem over the past 24 hours, with the incidents taking place under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, according to local reports.
In the southern West Bank, settlers entered the Khirbet al-Kharaba area east of the town of Al-Samu, near Hebron, and released their livestock close to Palestinian homes. They also cut down olive trees in the Wadi area south of Hebron and uprooted additional trees belonging to Palestinian landowners in Wadi Ajheish, east of Al-Samu.
In the Nablus governorate, settlers established a new settlement outpost near Palestinian homes east of the village of Qaryut, southeast of the city.
Several attacks were also reported in the Ramallah area. In Deir Ammar, west of the city, settlers stormed a house under construction, vandalized its contents, raised an Israeli flag over the building, and carried out provocative acts inside the property.
At the entrance to the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles. In the nearby village of Umm Safa, settlers grazed cattle among Palestinian olive groves, while other groups entered the outskirts of the village of Jammala, west of Ramallah.
In Jenin, settlers conducted provocative tours near the tourist village of Haddad.
While Israeli occupation forces provided strong protection, groups of Israeli settlers entered the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem. During the incursion, some performed the ritual known by Jewish activists as the “epic prostration,” an act that Palestinians view as a provocative violation of the site’s longstanding status quo.
