Gaza registered 35 new infections from the coronavirus in the besieged Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, reported the heath ministry in Gaza on Monday.
In a statement, the Health Ministry said the territory’s virus count rose to 2826 confirmed cases, including 21 deaths, and 1320 recoveries. The number of active cases has reached 1485.
The ministry called on residents to pursue social distancing to help stem the spread of the virus.
