Days of Palestine – Jenin
Israeli occupation forces arrested two citizens and detained their children in Anin village, west of Jenin on Saturday night.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested Yusef Asaad Yassin and Ayman Tayseer Khalil Yassin after they raided their homes in the village.
Israeli occupation forces also detained Yusef's two children, Mustafa and Fadi, and Ayman's son, Muhammad, while they were watching their sheep grazing near the Apartheid Wall and interrogated them for hours before releasing them.
In a related context, Israeli occupation forces stormed Zabuba village adjacent to the Separation Wall amid heavy firing of tear gas canisters as Israeli occupation forces vehicles provocatively roamed the village's streets.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces stormed the village, closed its entrances, and prevented citizens from entering or leaving it which triggered clashes with the Palestinian youths.
Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, tear gas and stun grenades. Dozens of Palestinian civilians suffered breathing difficulty.
The residents of Zabuba village suffer from constant and repeated attacks by Israeli occupation forces due to the alleged attempts that Palestinian youths make holes in the Apartheid Wall in the village.
The Wall expropriated large areas of agricultural land that extended from Zabuba village of the northern West Bank to Masaha village, south of the city of Qalqilya. The land that will be confiscated for the Wall was estimated at 1.61 million dunums.
IOF soldiers also raided Silwad town, east of Ramallah, and stationed in the town’s center. They also carried out a campaign in the vicinity of Itamar settlement, east of Nablus, and fired dozens of flare bombs.
