The Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests and several Palestinian youths were rounded up in the Occupied West Bank cities on Monday.
According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from Hebron, Adham Ziyad Abu Aisha, and another, Islam Sabri Masalmeh, from the town of Deir Samet, southwest of the city, after searching their homes and tampering with their contents, and took them to an unknown destination.
Palestinian sources said that dozens of Israeli occupation forces soldiers stormed Anabta town triggering clashes with inhabitants. These confrontations resulted in the injury of a young man, shot in his foot by the Israeli occupation forces He was taken to the hospital where his condition was described as stable.
Israeli occupation forces also arrested Khairy Saeed Hanoun, 61, an elderly activist, after they raided his home in Anabta town, east of Tulkarem.
Hanoun, a released prisoner, has spent more than 8 years in Israeli occupation prisons. He is a member of the factional coordination committee in the Tulkarem province and is an activist in the popular resistance against the occupation.
He became famous after journalists' cameras documented an Israeli soldier pressing his knee on his neck during a protest against the confiscation of lands south of Tulkarem, which almost cost him his life.
