Ismail Haneyya, Hamas’s leader, and his accompanying delegation on Sunday met Hassan Nasrallah, secretary-general of the Lebanese party Hezbollah.
Nasrallah received Haneyya, Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri, his deputy, and his accompanying delegation, in his private office to discuss several issues of concern to the resistance and the Palestinian cause.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the overall political and military developments in Palestine, Lebanon and the region and the dangers confronting the Palestinian cause.
The two sides discussed the danger of the deal of the century and the official Arab normalization projects with the Israeli occupation, and the responsibility entrusted to the nation towards that.
Nasrallah and Haneyya stressed during the meeting on the steadfastness and resilience of the resistance in the face of all pressures and threats, and the high expectations placed on it.
They also emphasized the strong relationship between Hezbollah and Hamas which is based on the foundations of faith, brotherhood, jihad, and the common destiny, and agreed on the development of mechanisms for cooperation and coordination between the two parties.
Haneyya and a senior leadership delegation from Hamas have started a visit to Lebanon a few days ago.
