Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has affirmed that there are contacts underway with many parties and organizations to help the Palestinians in Gaza to face the challenges, holding the Israeli occupation state fully responsible for the dire situation there.
“In light of the current conditions and developments, the Movement’s leadership is making contacts with many parties, especially the brothers in Egypt, Qatar, the UN and Turkey,” Haneyya said in a press release on Thursday.
He said that such contacts are aimed at rallying support for the citizens in Gaza and strengthen their steadfastness in the face of the challenges.
“The Israeli occupation bears full responsibility for the situation in the Gaza Strip and it must end the blockade on Gaza completely, stop its aggression and allow in all health and medical supplies to confront coronavirus,” the Hamas official underscored.
He pointed out that “the Hamas leadership at home and abroad is following the situation in Gaza and embarking on plans to address the ensuing developments.”
