Days of Palestine – Gaza
Senior Hamas official Fawzi Barhoum has said that the Palestinian resistance will not allow the current situation imposed by the Israeli occupation on Gaza to continue, affirming its readiness “to deal with all scenarios to curb the aggression, break the siege and protect its people’s interests.”
In press remarks on Saturday, Barhoum underlined that Israel’s persistence in attacking Gaza and targeting innocent civilians, children and women is a “dangerous escalation,” holding the Israeli occupation army fully responsible for all the consequences of such practices, which he described as “follies.”
“The regional and international silence on the occupation’s crimes, and even rewarding it through accelerating the steps of normalizing relations with it have encouraged it to move forward with the policy of organized terrorism and commit more crimes and violations against our people,” the Hamas official said.
On Friday evening, Israeli warplanes resumed attacking Gaza, bombing different residential areas in Gaza. One three-year-old girl was injured in yesterday’s air raids.
