Israeli hardliner settlers prevented last night a Palestinian family from going back to their home in Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, a group of extremist settlers living in the illegal settlment of Kiryat Arba stood at the way of Seefan family to prevent them from reaching their home in Wadi Hasin neighborhood.
The sources cofirmed that Israeli occupation soldiers were present at the scene, but stood and watched without attempting to intervene.
About 800 extremist settlers live in the Israeli-controlled section of Hebron, known as H2, among over 20,000 Palestinians.
Harassment of Palestinians in that area is a daily occurrence, particularly following the departure of the international monitoring team, the Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH), in February last year after Israel refused to extend the team's mandate.
