Unidentified gunmen opened fire at the house of the Palestinian Legislative Council speaker, Aziz Dewik, for the second time in the past few days, in Hebron, in the occupied West Bank.
Ammar Dweik, the Director General of the Independent Commission for Human Rights, called for providing protection to Aziz Dewik over the repeated attacks on the Dweik’s house.
He also urged the PSS (Palestinian Security Services) to take a decisive stance on revealing the identity of the ‘unknown shooters.’
Dweik’s house was hit by a hand grenade, at dawn, last Monday. There were no injuries reported.
According to Safa Newspaper, Dweik’s house is located in the Al-Jamaa neighborhood, near the University of Hebron.
