Days of Palestine – West Bank
According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces dawn Friday kidnapped three Palestinians from Nabuls and Hebron districts of occupied West Bank.
The sources confirmed that Israeli occupation military vehicles raided Burin town, south of Nablus, where soldiers rounded up a former prisoner and ransacked several houses, turning them upside down.
Israeli occupation troops conducted a raid into Jamma'in town, southwest of Nablus, where they took photos for several old houses, as confirmed by member of the municipal council Mohammad Taher.
Meanwhile, an Israeli military raid was carried out in Burqa village, north of Nablus, resulting in the detention of a Palestinian.
In Hebron district, soldiers stopped a Palestinian driving his vehicle near the colonial settlement bloc of Gush Etzion and detained him. The detainee was identified as a resident of Hebron city.
Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids, which take place also in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
According to Palestinian figures, roughly 5,700 Palestinians — including numerous women and children — are currently languishing in Israeli detention facilities.
