Days of Palestine – Jerusalem
Israeli occupation forces Thursday detained at least six Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank, including two teenagers and a man and his wife, said local sources.
Israeli occupation police detained a man and his wife from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Tur, and two teenagers, one of them is 12 years old in the Jerusalem neighborhoods of Silwan and Issawiya, said sources.
In the northern West Bank, Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said that a Palestinian identified as a resident of Jenin refugee camp was stopped and detained at Zaatara Israeli military checkpoint, south of Nablus.
Israeli occupation military also raided Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm, where soldiers detained one person.
According to Palestinian figures, roughly 5,700 Palestinians — including numerous women and children — are currently languishing in Israeli detention facilities.
