The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday evening stormed al-Dawa Mosque in Beit Hanina town in the northeast of Jerusalem, at the pretext that some local citizens violated the emergency coronavirus measures and prayed inside the Mosque.
According to local sources, the Israeli forces fined each worshiper 500 shekels and the Mosque Mu’addin 5,000 shekels.
In Hebron, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked under military protection the house of a Palestinian citizen called Mufid al-Shirbati in the Old City’s al-Shuhada Street, which was shut down following the 1994 Ibrahimi Mosque massacre.
The settlers hurled stones at the house and gathered outside it for a while, which caused panic among the residents.
Shirbati and his family live in his small dilapidated house, which he inherited from his father.
The Israeli occupation authority prevents Shirbati from making repairs or additions to his house.
