Israeli forces today razed a large tract of Palestinian-owned land in the village of Burin, to the south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors Israeli settlement activities the West Bank, told that Israeli forces accompanied by bulldozers embarked earlier this morning on leveling the land which is adjacent to the illegal Israeli settlement of Yitzhar.
Daghlas said Israeli army has been intensifying its policy of razing Palestinian lands in an attempt to confiscate more land for the benefit of expanding the illegal settlements and to serve Israel’s colonial takeover of the land.
