Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by settlers, bulldozed today vast areas of land belonging to Palestinians in Hebron city, in the southern occupied West Bank, according to WAFA news agency.
Israeli occupation bulldozers began since the early morning hours to bulldoze agricultural land belonging to a number of residents in the city.
One of the land owners, Samer Jaber said that Israeli forces have so far bulldozed at least 50 dunums of land located in the vicinity of residents’ homes and fields.
The anti-settlement and wall activist, Younis 'Arar, said that the bulldozing operations are targeting over 100 dunums of Palestinian-owned land located adjacent to the Kiryat Arba settlement, as a prelude to seizing it for the benefit of expanding the said settlement, which was illegally built on Palestinian residents’ land to the northeast of the city.
