Head of Hamas’s media office abroad Ra’fat Murra has expressed his Movement rejection of any step aimed at changing the status quo and the Arab and Islamic identity of Occupied Jerusalem.
“Jerusalem is the title of our national identity, an emblem of civilization for the nation and the world, and a political anchor for the Palestinian cause and our resistance of the occupation until liberation and return,” Murra stated in press remarks.
He stressed that US president Donald Trump’s decisions over Jerusalem are null and void and can never change the status, location and history of Jerusalem.
The Hamas official affirmed that all forms of resistance against the occupation would continue in order to liberate Jerusalem, protect the presence of its native population and support their steadfastness.
