The Israeli occupation police on Thursday evening arrested a Palestinian child after physically assaulting him in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Local sources said that Israeli policemen severely beat a child and rounded him up at Bab al-Khalil (gate) of the Old City a few moments after US secretary of state Mike Pompeo ended a provocative visit to the ancient area.
Pompeo arrived on Wednesday in the occupied Palestinian territories as part of a Middle East tour, which he started in Kuwait.
