Israeli occupation snipers killed on Friday three protesters and wounded 40 others during peaceful protests of the Great March of Return, ministry of health in Gaza said.
Spokesman of Al-Shifa Hospital Dr Ayman al-Sahabani named the first fallen martyr as Mohammad Jahjouh, 16, noting he was shot in the nick.
The second martyr, according to Al-Sahabani, was named as Mahed Yassin, 40 years old. The Israeli occupation snipers shot him in the chest.
Meanwhile, the third martyr was named as Izziddin abu-Sharia, 28 years old. He was shot in his belly. He was evacuated from the protest alive, but he succumbed to his wounds in the hospital.
Regarding the wounded, Al-Sahabani said that five of them suffered serious injuries, including one in a very critical condition.
He also said that there were four paramedics and two journalists among the wounded.
It is worth noting that the protesters stopped flying kites and burning tyres about eight Fridays ago.
The Israeli occupation snipers has blamed the high number of casualties during their violent crackdown on the protests for the heavy smoke which rises from the burning tyres.
