Israeli occupation snipers killed two Palestinian protesters, including 13-year-old Palestinian boy on Friday, wounded 415 others during Great March of Return.
Spokesman of the Ministry of Health in Gaza Ashraf al-Qidra confirmed that the 13-year-old boy Yasser abu-Naja was shot by a sniper in the head and announced dead in the hospital.
More than four hundred other Palestinians were injured or suffered tear-gas inhalation as Israeli forces targeted protesters at the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip on the 14th Friday of the Great March of Return.
Al-Qidra added that eight of the wounded Palestinians suffered critical conditions.
Protesters gathered in “return camps” at the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip and set fire to tires. However, witnesses said that Israeli forces opened live ammunition at protesters.
The Great March of Return protests were launched by thousands of Palestinian civilians in Gaza — which has suffered from a decade-long Israeli siege — who took to the borders to demand their right of return as refugees to their original homelands, now in present-day Israel.
Since the start of the Great March of Return on March 30, Israel has killed about 150 protesters and wounded more than 4,000 others.
