A group of extremist Israeli Jewish settlers known as ‘Price Tag’ spray-painted on Monday night racist graffiti on cars and homes of Palestinians in Jerusalem neighbourhood of Hizma.
Local sources said that residents of Hizma woke up to find car tyres slashed, and slogans spray-painted on to vehicles and walls.
The Hebrew-language slogans included: “The Arabs of Jerusalem are terrorists, expel or kill them.. Let us kill with them.. There is no place in Israel for foreigners and the enemies of God.. God is our king”.
Israeli occupation police said the incident was under investigation, but at the time of writing, no suspects had been arrested.
Jewish Israeli settlers and ultra-nationalist extremists often target Palestinians in so-called ‘Price Tag’ attacks, in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and within the Green Line.
These attacks typically take the form of graffiti, vandalism and damage to property, but can also entail physical assaults leading to injury or even fatalities.
