Extremist Israeli Jewish settler ran over and wounded on Sunday at noon Palestinian girl in Al-Khalil’s Old City, south of the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian sources identified the girl as the five-year-old Razan Jaber. They said that she was hit by the settler’s vehicle in front of her kindergarten, to the east of Al-Ibrahimi Mosque.
In a statement, the Palestinian ministry of health said that the girl suffered several injuries in the lower parts of her legs, noting that she is still in the hospital for treatment.
Running over Palestinian citizens, mainly children by the Israeli occupation settlers occurs repeatedly in the cities and villages of the occupied West Bank.
Eyewitness said that the extremist settler ran away after he had hit the girl.
Palestinian and Israeli rights groups have several times accused the Israeli government of giving the greenlight for the settlers to carry out such crimes because it does not bring the perpetrators to courts.
Last month, an extremist Israeli settler ran over a 7-year-old Palestinian boy in Qalqilia, causing him severe injuries.
