Israeli occupation forces shot wounded 92 Palestinians during protests in occupied Palestinian territories (oPt), Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) reported on Saturday evening.
According to a statement issued by the PRC, 42 of the wounded from the occupied West Bank and 50 from the Gaza Strip.
The statement stated that four of the wounded suffered serious injuries, including a 13-year-old child and 17-year-old girl in Gaza.
Meanwhile, thousands of the Palestinians in Gaza took part in the funeral processions of the two Palestinian martyrs Mohamed al-safadi, 30, and Mahmoud al-Otol, who were killed in last night’s Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.
Palestinians said that they would continue their protests against the American President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
It is worth mentioning that worldwide condemnation of Trump’s recognition continued all day. Several Christian institutions and Jewish entities, along with the grand Muslim bodies condemned Trump’s recognition and stressed that Jerusalem is an Arabic city.
