Israeli occupation navy opened fire on Thursday morning at two Palestinian fishermen, arrested one while the other could flee under cover of Palestinian fire.
Palestinian security sources said that the Israeli occupation navy approached the Palestinian fishing boat and opened fire it two fishermen were on board.
One of the two fishermen was wounded and after he fell in the sea while bleeding, he was captured by the Israeli occupation navy.
Israeli media reported the Israeli army saying that the wounded fishermen was taken for treatment and interrogation.
The Israeli fire aroused the Palestinian sea guards on the coast, who returned fire at the Israeli occupation navy, pushing them back and opening an exit way for the other fisherman to flee.
Such Israeli aggression on the Gaza fishermen occurs almost everyday and many were wounded, arrested or killed.
For more than one and half a decade, the Israeli occupation has been imposing strict restrictions on the Palestinian fishermen as it most times allow them to sail only between three to six nautical miles.
When the Palestinians cross these limits, the Israeli occupation claims, they were shot at or arrested.

However, today’s incident took place at a distance of only one-kilometre away from the beach. This refutes Israeli claims that the Palestinian fishermen violated the fishing limits.
