Days of Palestine, west Bank -Israeli forces shot, wounded on Monday five Palestinian citizens protested against demolition of prisoner’s house in West Bank city of Jenin.
Under the protection of armed Israeli soldiers, bulldozers entered the town of Qabatiya in the Jenin district early Monday morning and demolished the home of the Palestinian prisoner, who was reportedly accused of owning weapons.
Kamal Abu al-Rub, deputy governor of the city of Jenin said that Israeli forces began the demolition at 3am, when tens of Palestinians gathered to prevent the demolition.
The Israeli occupation forces opened live fire at the Palestinians and wounded them, Abu al-Rub said, noting that one of them is suffering serious condition.
Medical sources said that the five wounded were taken to Jenin Hospital. They said that Abdul-Rahman Sulaiman, 20, was shot in the chest and remains in critical condition.
An Israeli army spokeswoman confirmed shooting the five Palestinian men, claiming they attempted to pervert carrying out legal measures against “terrorists.”
