Days of Palestine, Washington -Massive number anti-Israeli occupation activists gathered on Sunday in Washington, calling for US Administration to stop its unlimited support to Israeli occupation.
The gathering took place in front of the building, where the annual Jewish American AIPAC conference is taking place.
In an attempt to send a strong message to AIPAC and its supporters, the protesters, including AIPAC dissenters, blocked one of the entrances.
Protesters were angry that all American presidential candidates, democrats and republicans, were to speak at the conference, except for the Jewish Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders.
Most of the chants screamed by the protesters included calls for the US to stop its unlimited aid to the Israeli occupation, describing Israeli officials as “war criminals” due to their daily and clear human rights violations against Palestinians.
Several American and international speakers addressed the protesters, which had been well-organised days before it took place.
Al-Awda, The Palestinian Right to Return Coalition and the ANSWER Coalition co-sponsored the National March to Support Palestine and Protest AIPAC.
